What is an IBC?

An IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) is a reusable industrial container for storing and transporting liquids and granulated substances. A composite IBC pairs a plastic bottle with a metal cage on a pallet base — the standard for moving bulk liquids efficiently.

Do you sell new and rebottled IBCs?

Yes. We supply new 135, 275, and 330 gallon composite IBCs, and we also sell rebottled IBCs — inspected cages fitted with new bottles for a cost-effective, sustainable alternative.

Do your replacement bottles fit other manufacturers' cages?

Yes. Our universal replacement bottles are made in-house and fit all original manufacturer cages with ease.

What products do you sell?

New composite IBCs (135, 275, and 330 gallon), rebottled IBCs, washout IBCs, universal replacement bottles, and plastic drums. We also pick up empty reusable IBCs for washing or rebottling.

What container sizes do you carry?

New composite IBCs come in 135, 275, and 330 gallon capacities. For rebottled IBC, replacement bottle, and drum sizes, ask our team about current availability.

What is a rebottled IBC?

An inspected, structurally sound cage fitted with a brand-new bottle. You get a fresh, clean container at a lower cost than new — and one less cage goes to scrap.

Are your IBCs UN Rated?

New IBCs, rebottled IBCs, Washouts, the Wash & Return Program, and Plastic & Steel Drums are UN Rated. Replacement bottles are sold as bottles only; the rating applies to the assembled cage and bottle unit.

Ordering & Quotes

How do I get pricing?

We don't list prices on the website because pricing is unique to your location and volume — but we are very competitive. Request a quote and we'll respond with pricing for your situation.

What information do I need for a quote?

Just the basics: your name, company, email, and the product or service you need. Quantity and delivery location help us respond faster, but we'll work out details with you either way.

How do I request a quote?

Use the Request a Quote form — name, company, email, and what you need is enough to start. You can also email sales@mphunited.com or call 586-703-2555.

Why don't you list prices on the website?

Pricing is unique to your location and volume, so a published price list would mislead more than it helps. We are very competitive — talk to us today.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No minimum for New IBCs, Rebottled IBCs, or Replacement Bottles. Plastic & Steel Drums have a 100-unit minimum order quantity.

Who is my sales rep?

It depends on your region: Larry Mitchum covers the East, Jennifer Wilkes covers the South, and Renee Sauvageau covers the Midwest and Mountain West. For the West Coast or if you're unsure, call the main line and we'll connect you with the right person. See the Contact page for the territory map.

Pickup & Recycling

Do you pick up empty IBCs?

Yes. We pick up empty reusable IBCs and wash or rebottle them. Tell us how many containers you have and where they are, and we'll take it from there.

What condition do containers need to be in for pickup?

Drained, drip-dry, and completely empty, with all caps, valves, and bung plugs closed. Containers must be reusable: an intact, non-crushed metal or plastic pallet base (no wood pallets) and a metal cage that isn't bent and is free of corrosion.

What happens to picked-up containers?

They go to the nearest MPH United facility to be washed or rebottled and returned to service — keeping containers working and out of landfills.
